Happy Birthday to Me!

Friday was my 34th birthday. Here is a picture of me opening my present.
Lizzy made me a german chocolate cake. She asked me if it looked like a professional made it. I told her no, but it was delicious!
She didn't give me a fork so I just started eating it with my mouth and Erika was copying me.
She finally passed out forks so we could eat like civilized people.
"Lizzy made this cake. I'll have to pretend like it tastes awful."Then since it was Friday and it was Ella's turn to pick out the game, she decided she wanted to go to the park.
Erika said going down the slide with me wasn't very fun because I didn't go fast. Is it my fault the slide wasn't big enough for my butt? LOL!
Here they are on their bikes.
Lizzy didn't bring her bike so she tried to use Erika's.
But I think it scared her.
Then on Saturday my mom had us over for dinner at her house for my birthday.
Lizzy was insistent that I have 34 candles. I couldn't do it all on my own.And one random picture of my husband who I love so much!
Thanks everyone for making my birthday special!

Lizzy's last choir concert

On Wednesday, May 13, 2009 Lizzy had her last choir concert for this school year. I decided to record them. I think they did a good job, but she says they didn't. It's really hard to hold the camera still for 4 or 5 minutes so please forgive the poor quality of the video, but you get the gist of it.

I hate weeds!

This week I've been pulling weeds in the front yard. Can you tell the difference?
I'm almost done weeding the whole front yard. The back yard will have to wait as it is a jungle and I'm just not ready to tackle it yet!

I took a short break to write this message in the driveway (it says We love you Daddy!)

And to snap a few photos of my cute helpers.

Disney Scene It

Last Friday we played this. I don't know how to turn the picture. It's saved the right way on my computer, but somehow when I put it on my blog it gets turned.
Here are a few pictures.

Does this picture tell you who won?

T-ball

Last Tuesday we went to Riley's t-ball game. It brought back so many memories of when Lizzy played t-ball.

Here is Riley up to bat.
Here he is on first base. There must have been something interesting under the base as they are both checking it out.

Here are some pictures of the girls at the game.

And here is Riley in the outfield. Not much action out there so he decided to sit down and take a break.
And then he decided the grass would be more comfortable. I guess he decided he was done playing so he took his hat off.
I guess he was really bored because he laid down in the grass.
I'm not sure how he could see with his helmet on, but it sure makes for a cute picture.
Thanks Riley for letting us come and watch you play t-ball.

Wii Fun

Wow, I've been slacking in the blog department. I need to be better. A few Fridays ago we played the Wii for family game night. Ella and Erika wanted to go over to Kayden's house (their cousin) so it was just the four of us. First we played bowling.

Lizzy won and she even got a record score. She got a spare or a strike in every frame except one!

Then we played Disney Sing It. I had to go pick up Ella and Erika after my first song so there aren't any other pictures.
